THE REAL enemy in GAMING

Did you know there are many options when it comes to gaming? There’s a lot.

While fighting cultists Borderlands3, the phenomenon struck me. Space western’s irreverent humor has been a favourite of mine for quite a long time, and so I was excited to start the game. However, I got distracted by the constant concern about finding the right weapon.

I would spend hours every night obsessively comparing information about weaponsas well as switching between firearms and trying to determine which one was the most efficient. I noticed that I wasn’t enjoying the fights. To rearrange my weapons cache I halted every battle between 4-8x. Each new find made it harder to know what I would find. It was a hassle to sort through the contents of my loot box.

My interest turned into work.

Borderlands could be the culprit. However, it’s not the only cause. I have to look through the huge arsenal of Marvel’s Spider-Man as well as Assassin’s Creed in order to find the best gadget for my pain.

They offer a vast choice of alternatives to fight monotony. I find this interesting. It’s frustrating having to decide between eliminating Gotham’s scum by using the Freeze Blast ora blast of explosive gel. It’s the best option. Because you’re Batman you’re Batman.

Many studies have shown that people are happier having more options. However, I’m not convinced that removing the flavor-enhancing elements from games will fix the problem. The problem may be in the structure of the game more thanin the player. I’m a bit naive and have a long time debating verbs. I’m able to make use of my propensity to overthink in my game. This opportunity presented itself so I seized it. Borderlands was the first game I playedwhich helped me overcome my indecisiveness.

I identified three essential qualities that I valued the mostsuch as scopes, fire ratesand damage. This was to ensure that I could avoid buying huge magazines or undercarriage-grenade launchers.

Although there were some difficulties, like when I had to confront a player with the ability to resist firewhich my guns did not inflict fire damagewhen the weapons were placedI was able to enjoy the game was a huge increase. I was more comfortable with my gut instincts rather than considering all options each time I encountered a disagreement.

It’s the most wonderful thing about it. Knowing that I’d be fine no matter what happened to “One Gun to Rule Them All” helped me make better decisions at home, work, and with friends. I don’t have to waste 15 mins looking at the menus to figure out what to order. If this isn’t progress, I do not know how to improve it.
